The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Annual Memorial Breakfast will be held virtually on Monday, January 18 beginning promptly at 9 a.m. In the past, the law school sponsored a table and a limited number of law students could attend in person. This year, due to the pandemic, the event is open to all law students, faculty and staff. Hold the date on your calendar and the Zoom link will be provided to the law school community in a subsequent email. Thank you to Dean Daniel Filler for once again enabling the law school to help sponsor this important legal community event.
The Barristers’ Association is furnishing ten (10) commemorative mugs this year as part of our sponsorship. To be eligible to win a mug, please submit your favorite MLK quote/act along with a short paragraph about why it is meaningful to you. These submissions will be used as part of the law school’s Black History Month social media campaign. Submissions should be sent to divein_klinelaw@drexel.edu by January 19, 2021 at 5 p.m.
