Mandatory for 1Ls: Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers Session

We will be hosting Laurie Besden, Esq., Executive Director of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers (LCL) of PA. LCL is a non-profit, completely confidential resource that helps lawyers and law students struggling with alcohol, drugs, depression, and other serious emotional illnesses.

Laurie will be discussing her struggles with addiction as a law student and attorney, and sharing the resources available to you as students through LCL.

Laurie will also share information about how students can speak with her confidentially, discreetly, safely, and privately about any type of addiction, alcohol issues, mental health disorder, gambling, stress, or depression questions or concerns about themselves or about their friends or colleagues.

All JD students who began in the Summer and Fall are required to attend (Zoom link here).
