Ballard Spahr’s Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills Workshop for Diverse 1Ls

The Career Strategies Office is pleased to share an invitation for Ballard Spahr’s 13th Annual Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills Workshop for Diverse First-Year JD Students hosted by the firm’s Diverse Lawyer Group. 

The first 10 students to RSVP to Jen Moore jdm368@drexel.edu with a copy of their resume will receive confirmation to attend the program. Confirmed participants will also be required to submit a cover letter to jdm368@drexel.edu by February 12.

A strong resume and solid interviewing skills are important ways for students to distinguish themselves.

To help students develop these critical skills, Ballard Spahr cordially invites you to participate in our 13th Annual Resume Writing and Interviewing Skills Workshop. The event is hosted by our Diverse Lawyer Group as a way to advance diversity in the legal profession.

Participating students will have the opportunity to meet with practicing legal professionals in one-on-one sessions designed to provide frank and informative feedback on the materials and skills necessary for landing a position in the legal field.

After a presentation on resume writing and interviewing, students will participate in mock interviews with practicing attorneys and receive individualized feedback. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Due to the individualized nature of the workshop, space is very limited.
