Professor Jordan L. Fischer to Host Another Season of ‘The New Frontier,’ an ABA Podcast on Cybersecurity and Data Privacy November 08, 2021 Jordan L. Fischer, director of Kline Law’s Center For Law and Transformational Technology and assistant teaching professor, hosts the forthcoming season of the cybersecurity and data privacy podcast, “The New Frontier,” which is part of the American Bar Association Business Law Section’s podcast series. The first episode of the new season will be released in November 2021. Fischer hosted the eighth season of “To the Extent That…,” which was titled “Cybersecurity and Data Privacy — The New Frontier.” The season ran from January to July 2021 and featured the following guests: Daniel Garrie, who spoke about the inherent tensions between law and technology; Myriah Jaworski Esq., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, who explained the evolving trends in law and technology; Clive Halperin, who provided key insights into the UK and its evolving data protection laws; Chris Sagers, who dove into the role of antitrust in big tech; Diane M Janosek, who talked about cyberspace and cybersecurity; Emerald de Leeuw, who provided insight into her journey as a woman in privacy compliance at Logitech; Peter Fatelnig, who discussed the evolving approach within the European Union to cybersecurity; and Cindy Liebes, who discussed the Cybercrime Support Network and how to help address personal cyber risks.
