Professor Donald Tibbs will speak at the Stetson Law Review Symposium, “Conversations on the Warren Court’s Impact on Criminal Justice—After 50 Years,” on April 5.
The symposium will appraise the impact of the Warren Court, which has been recognized for producing a revolution in criminal law and criminal procedure doctrines and for provoking reforms in civil rights enforcement.
Tibbs will serve on a panel exploring “Limiting Police Power While Increasing Defendants Power,” joining colleagues Jonathan Stubbs from the University of Richmond School of Law, Neil Sobol from Texas A&M University School of Law and Janet C. Hoeffel from Tulane Law School.
As a scholar, Tibbs explores the overlapping issues of race, law, civil rights and criminal procedure.
