Four members of the Trial Team were crowned champions of the American Association for Justice Regional Student Trial Advocacy Competition on March 4.
2Ls Hunter McMullin, Elizabeth Bertolino, Liz Yoder and Michael Wentz were the victors in a competition that featured teams from 10 law schools who competed in Philadelphia.
The students were coached by alumna Abbie Heller, ’14, of the Defender Association of Philadelphia, and Jason Grenell of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
“I could not be more proud of these students,” said Professor Gwen Roseman Stern, director of the Trial Advocacy program. “The fact that they’re an all-2L team makes their success that much more impressive.”
The students will advance in the National Finals on April 12-15.
