Associate Dean for Faculty Research Bret Asbury will give a diverse group of students arriving at Philadelphia-area law schools a glimpse of civil procedure at a week-long boot camp organized by the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group on Aug. 7.
The boot camp is designed to give diverse students who do not have substantial information about the law school experience an early introduction to legal education before they arrive at area law schools for the fall semester. The program supports the PDLG aim of increasing diversity in Philadelphia’s legal community.
Asbury will lead a class on Civil Procedure, one of the courses he has taught at the law school since joining the faculty.
This year’s boot camp will be hosted by Ballard Spahr.
