Dale Cooke, a 1L, will serve as a moderator at the Food and Drug Law Institute Conference on Advertising and Promotion in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 26.
Cooke will moderate a discussion of “Advertising and Promotional Communications in a Mobile World,” featuring Richard Cleland, the assistant director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Jason W. Gordon, counsel with Reed Smith, and Kristi Wolff, a partner with Kelley Drye & Warren.
The second edition of a primer Cooke wrote for the institute in 2013, “Effective Review and Approval of Digital Promotional Tactics,” will be issued in tandem with the conference, for which he served on the programming committee.
The president of PhillyCooke Consulting, Cooke has consulted prescription product manufacturers, technology companies and advertising agencies to ensure that they understand FDA regulatory requirements and how they apply to new and emerging technology channels. He is a member of the Programmatic Health Council, an industry coalition that educates marketers of health products about the nature and uses of programmatic advertising placement technology.
