Associate Dean Donna Gerson will serve on the faculty of the NALP Newer Professionals’ Forum in Houston, Texas on March 2-4.
Gerson will be a co-presenter at two programs, “Management Foundations for Career Development Professionals” and “Acquiring the Counseling Skills You Need to Manage Student Counseling Services, Part II.”
She joins Marcia Pennington Shannon, associate dean of Georgetown Law Center, in leading both programs.
NALP, an association of legal career professionals who advise, law students, lawyers, law offices and law schools in North America and beyond. The forum is designed to help newer legal recruitment and career services professionals. This is the second consecutive year Gerson was invited to speak.
Under Gerson’s leadership, the Kline School of Law’s Career Strategies Office has accrued an exceptional record for job placements. In 2015, the most recent year for which American Bar Association data is available, the school had the second-best job-placement record of any law school in Pennsylvania, Delaware or Maryland.
