Professor Deborah Gordon will be a featured presenter at a workshop convened by Durham University Law School in Durham, England on June 5.
The workshop, “Transatlantic Perspectives on Legal Education: Engaged Learning Across the Small to Large Class Divide,” will explore innovation in legal education in the United Kingdom and the United States. Gordon will join Durham professors Andy Hayward and Lana Ashby on the panel.
As a scholar, Gordon explores the intersection of language, emotion and gender in inheritance law. She teaches Trusts and Estates, Estate and Gift Tax and Legal Methods.
She received the Dean Jennifer L. Rosato Excellence in the Classroom Award in 2017.
