The Kline School of Law’s Master of Legal Studies program was ranked #3 Best Value by Affordable Colleges.com among online masters’ programs conferred by U.S. law schools.
The ranking of online MLS programs offered by law schools and other types of colleges is based on metrics related to cost, student success and variety of online programs. The website uses 11 data points to compile the rankings.
The website factors in tuition, the number of students receiving financial aid, net price, loan default rate, enrollment rate, full-time retention rate, graduation rate, student-to-faculty ratio, admissions rate, number of programs and percentage of students taking at least one online course.
In September 2016, Kline became one of just 12 institutions in the U.S. to receive accreditation from the Compliance Certification Board for its MLS and certificate programs in Health Care Compliance.
The law school also offers concentration options for MLS students in Criminal Law, Cybersecurity and Information Privacy Compliance, Entrepreneurship and Law, Financial Regulatory Compliance, Higher Education Compliance, Human Resources Compliance, and NCAA Compliance and Sports Law.
Courses in the MLS program are taught by law faculty who are recognized scholars and experienced practitioners.
