Michelle Streifthau-Livizos, ’18, received the top prize from the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel in its annual writing competition.
Streifthau-Livizos won the national competition for her essay, “Protecting the Loyal Hardworker: The Need for a Fair Analysis of Venue Clauses in ERISA Plans.”
The $1,500 cash prize comes with an invitation to the college’s annual dinner in San Francisco in October.
A member of Drexel Law Review staff and the Moot Court Board, Streifthau-Livizos was named the Best Oral Advocate in the 2017 Robert A. Mugel National Tax Moot Court Competition, which she and her teammate won.
