Professor Anil Kalhan will join a panel of experts in immigration law at a panel discussion at New York Law School on Jan. 7.

The discussion will focus on the book, “Beyond Deportation: The Role of Prosecutorial Discretion in Immigration Cases,” by Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhi, a professor at Penn State Law-University Park.

In addition to Wadhi and Kalhan, the panel will include Professor Farrin Anello of Seton Hall University School of Law and Professor Lenni B. Benson of New York Law School.

An authority on immigration law and its increasing convergence with criminal law, Kalhan is chair of the International Human Rights Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
