Professor Karl Okamoto will discuss the recent Delaware case, TCV VI, L.P. v. TradingScreen Inc., and its implications for structuring capital financings at the meeting the of Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee of the ABA Business Law Section Annual meeting in Chicago on Sept 17-19.
The director of the law school’s Business and Entrepreneurship Law Program, Okamoto chairs the Business Law Section’s Committee on Business Law Education, which will conduct several sessions at the annual meeting.
In addition, 3L Ernie Holtzheimer will give a presentation on “Trends and Developments in Venture Capital within China” to the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee. In May, Holtzheimer presented a talk on trends in venture capital in the U.S. and Europe during the Sixth International Forum for Law Students, held in Beijing.
