Two groups from the law school's Trial Team brought back trophies from competitions on Oct. 24 and 25.

3Ls Adam Bethke, Jill Schroeder, Kelsey Ashworth and Katrina Mavroudis advanced to the Semi-Finals in the Golden Gate University School of Law's In Vino Veritas Mock Trial Competition in San Francisco.  The students were among the Final Four teams in the competition, which was co-sponsored by the American Bar Association Section on Litigation.

The team was coached by alumnae Carla Wasko, ‘12, and Abbie Heller, ‘14.

2Ls Zachary Yurick and Gregory Kiss, 3L Hank George and 2L Michael Pajak advanced to the Quarter-Finals in the Peter James Johnson National Civil Trial Competition at St. John’s University School of Law.  Kiss was named Best Advocate among the 64 students who took part in the preliminary rounds.

They were coached by alumna Lauren Katona, ’12, and Guy D’Andrea.
