Professor Lisa McElroy’s book, “Called On,” has been published by Quid Pro Books.
By turns humorous and poignant, the novel tells the stories of a fictitious law professor and a fictitious 1L, who are both trying to forge new paths in their lives.
“’Called On’ is ‘Legally Blonde’ kicked up a notch,” novelist Paula Froelich wrote, while the National Law Journal’'s Supreme Court correspondent Tony Mauro described it as “a page turner.”
A graduate of Harvard Law School, McElroy teaches Legal Methods, Family Law and a Supreme Court Seminar and writes scholarly articles on legal pedagogy. She is frequently interviewed by the news media regarding the Supreme Court. Her essays and op-ed articles have appeared in The Huffington Post, The New York Times and other outlets.
The book is available in print and digital formats through Barnes & Noble, Amazon and other distributors.
