Professor Rachel López will moderate a CLE presented by the Public Interest Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association at the organization’s Annual Bench-Bar Conference on Oct. 16.
The program will explore the delivery of legal services and the administration of justice in low-income communities from a strengths-based perspective. The discussion will focus on programs that operate through the courts, law schools and community-based organizations that improve health and educational outcomes and link individuals and families to needed resources and services that will encourage favorable outcomes in the community.
The director of the law school’s Community Lawyering Clinic, López will moderate the discussion with panelists:

- Professor Kara Finck of the University of Pennsylvania Law School
- Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert K. Reed
- Philadelphia Legal Assistance Executive Director Anita Santos-Singh.
