Four members of the Trial Team advanced to the quarter-final rounds at the Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition at SUNY Buffalo Law School on Nov. 9.

3L Jenna Farr, 2L Rachel Holt, 3L Hannah Molitoris and 3L Tony Alvarez were among the top eight teams out of 36 that took part in the invitational competition.

“Our team did a phenomenal job,” said Professor Gwen Roseman Stern, director of the Trial Advocacy Program. “It’s extremely difficult to get that far in this competition, because it starts with 36 teams from all over the country.”

Stern joined Michael Benz and Sam Haaz, both alumni from the Class of 2012, in coaching the students.
