Professor Emily Zimmerman will present at the 10th Annual Global Legal Skills Conference in Chicago on May 22.
The director of the law school’s Criminal Law Program, Zimmerman will present “Taking Into Account the Social Context of Law: Implications for Legal Education,” with Diane Labréche of the University of Montreal law faculty.
Zimmerman has served on the Professional Development Committee of the Legal Writing Institute and on the board of Academics Promoting the Pedagogy of Effective Advocacy in Law.
She also served on the committee that planned the GLS conference, which brings together law faculty active in teaching legal writing, international and comparative law and clinic programs to international students.
