Professor Robert Field is giving talks on U.S. health care policy and regulation at a series of presentations in China, France and Switzerland.
Field’s talks in China are based on his first book, “Health Care Regulation in America: Complexity, Confrontation and Compromise,” which was published by Oxford University Press in 2007.
The whirlwind tour of China includes presentations at the Nankai University Law School on May 21, Xiamen University Law School and School of Public Health on May 25 and 26 and Jiao Tong University Law School and School of Public Health on May 28 and 29.
Field will go on to discuss his 2013 Oxford University Press book, “Mother of Invention: How the Government Created ‘Free Market’ Health Care,” at the Brocher Foundation in Hermance, Switzerland on June 17, at the École dest Hautes Études en Sante Publique in Paris on June 23 and the École des Hautes Études en Sante Publique in Rennes, France on June 30.
