3Ls Nicholas Bridge, Marco Diprato and Devon Pope won the New England Regional round of the 2015 Transactional LawMeet on Feb. 27 at Boston College Law School. The students will be traveling to New York City on April 10 to compete against 13 other regional winners. 84 teams competed across all regional competitions.
Bridge, DiPrato and Pope also won best sellers draft and best negotiation. Joe Stapleton, partner at Montgomery McCracken, coached the students.
Professor Karl Okamoto created the Transactional LawMeet® to fill an unmet need in legal education - to prepare students who seek to be transactional attorneys on how to structure and negotiate a simulated “deal” on behalf of a fictional high-profile client.
