In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, Drexel University is hosting a panel discussion Jan. 15 that will draw parallels and distinctions between the Civil Rights era and the current Black Lives Matter movement.
The panel will feature the perspectives of academics including Professor Donald Tibbs and Professor Andre Carrington of the College of Arts & Sciences and activists from the University community and beyond.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 pm in the Mitchell Auditorium of Bossone Research Center, 3140 Market St.
