Professors Anil Kalhan and Norman Stein moderated sessions at the Association of American Law Schools’ annual meeting in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 2 to 5.
Kalhan, the chair of the AALS Section on Law and South Asian Studies, moderated a session on “The Postcolonial Lives of Colonial Law in South Asia,” which included professors from Princeton and Villanova universities as well as the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore.
Stein moderated a session on "Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation" that included faculty from the law schools at Harvard and Catholic universities and representatives from the U.S. Department of Treasury, Social Security Works and the Pension Rights Center.
