Professor Nancy Kraybill and adjunct professor Julie McGrain presented "Foundations of Legal Analysis" at the Second Annual Showcase of Teaching in Philladelphia. Kraybill created a course of the same name four years ago and has taught it at the law school for the last three years with McGrain who is a research and writing Attorney in the Federal Defender’s Office in the District of New Jersey.
The presentation discussed how legal analysis and writing are driven by a lawyer’s representation of clients and the importance of grammar, sentence structure, and paragraph cohesion in legal writing.
Kraybill is the director of the law school's Academic Skills Program which consists of a series of workshops on core academic skills such as legal writing and analysis, study skills, time and stress management and exam-taking skills.
