A panel of esteemed judges and law clerks convened at the law school to discuss judicial clerkships and processes.

The Honorable Petrese B. Tucker from the federal Eastern District Court of Pennsylvania joined Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas judges Ramy I. Djerassi, Frederica A. Massiah-Jackson and George W. Overton as well as Jacquelyn Frazier-Lyde from Philadelphia Municipal Court.  Kadene K. Chin from Drinker Biddle, who once clerked for judge Tucker, moderated the panel discussion. 

All of the judges discussed their ascent from practicing attorneys or law clerks to seats in the judiciary, emphasizing the dedication and work ethic necessary to succeed as a judge. 

The judges also highlighted the ideal characteristics they seek in law clerks.  All of the esteemed panelists agreed that articulate individuals with a sense humility and the ability to work well with others under tight deadlines were essential traits, paramount above all other considerations.
