Class of 2009 alumnus Michael Lee will be honored at the Annual Meeting of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division on Feb. 26.
The executive director, supervising attorney and co-founder of the Philadelphia Criminal Record Expungement Project and the founder of the Law Office of Michael Lee, Lee will receive the F. Sean Peretta Service Award from the YLD.
The Criminal Record Expungement Project works to help residents of Philadelphia and surrounding communities to expunge information from criminal records, which may contain inaccurate or out-of-date material.
Starting this year, students will begin providing pro bono service through the Criminal Record Expungement Project at Drexel University’s Dana and David Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships at 35th and Spring Garden streets.
