The Earle Mack School of Law was listed as one of the four best regional law schools in the Mid-Atlantic region in the 2013 Black Student’s Guide to Law Schools.
The ranking has been published for the first time by On Being a Black Lawyer, a media company that has been recognized by the American Bar Association, National Black Law Students Association and National Association of Black Journalists since its founding in 2008.
The 65 law schools listed were ranked based on cost, job placement, selectivity, representation of black students in the overall student body, local job environment, local cost of living, local black population and distinguished black alumni.
The guide lists up to six top schools for black students in each of six geographic regions of the U.S. as well as the top 25 national law schools and the 10 best bargain law schools.
The law school was just one of four regional schools listed in the Mid-Atlantic region, which includes Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
