Professor Bret Asbury will discuss Fisher v. University of Texas, an affirmative action case before the U.S. Supreme Court, during a symposium at Stanford University on Oct. 27.
Asbury, who was present when oral arguments in Fisher v. the University of Texas were made before the high court on Oct. 10, will take part in a panel discussing the case.
He will join Stanford Law School Professor Richard Ford and University of San Francisco School of Law Professor Constance de la Vega on the panel, which will be moderated by Stanford Law Professor Jane Schacter.
The discussion will be part of the symposium, “Civil Rights and the Roberts Court,” organized by the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties.
