The American Bar Association Law Student Division has elected 3L Dorcas Adekunle to serve as one of its three voting representatives in the ABA House of Delegates, the policy making body of the world's largest voluntary professional organization.  

As a delegate, Adekunle represents the division, advocates for the views of law students to other ABA entities and ABA leadership and votes on resolutions before the House of Delegates.  She also works with the chair of the Law Student Division to execute the division’s legislative agenda and serves as the primary contact to more than 65 law student liaisons to ABA entities.

Adekunle was also appointed by the chair of the ABA House of Delegates to serve on the Committee on Drafting Policies and Procedures, becoming the first law student to serve on this committee.  Adekunle will serve as a delegate to the Law Student Division for one year, ending at the close of the ABA Annual Meeting in August 2013.
