Professor Robert Field will join a panel of speakers to discuss the Affordable Care Act and other topics at the Otolaryngology Advocacy Summit on May 7.

The summit affords attendees the opportunity to learn about legislative issues concerning the medical specialty of Otolaryngology. Attendees also have the opportunity to discuss issues with members of Congress or their staff.

Field, a nationally recognized expert on health policy and public health law whose research focuses on ethical issues in managed care, public policy and legal facets of health care reform and genetic screening, will discuss the impact of the Affordable Care Act on the specialty.
