Professor Barry Furrow gave the keynote address at Health Care Law in the Federal Courts, a symposium organized by the Federal Courts Law Review Symposium at the Charleston School of Law on Jan. 28.
Furrow, the director of the law school’s Health Law Program, discussed the "Economic Implications of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act."
The symposium reviewed the newly enacted federal health law and its effects on legal practice and offered an analysis of the bill’s constitutionality.
