Professors David S. Cohen, Anil Kalhan and Emily Zimmerman gave presentations at the Association of American Law Schools Annual Meeting on Jan. 8 in San Francisco, Calif.
Cohen was invited to speak at the New Voices in Gender Studies panel, where he appeared with colleagues from Northeastern University School of Law, Rutgers School of Law-Newark the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and the University of Toledo College of Law.
Kalhan presented at a panel on Due Process in the Era of Mass Immigration Detention, appearing with colleagues from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and the University of California, Davis School of Law, as well as the principal deputy general counsel from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Zimmerman presented findings from empirical research she has conducted on law students’ assessment preferences in a poster presentation sponsored by the Teaching Methods Section. Her research is forthcoming in the Rutgers Law Journal.
