Professor Karl Okamoto Gives Presentation at Yale Law School Conference

Professor Karl Okamoto presented a paper at the Fifth Annual Conference on Empirical Legal Studies at Yale Law School on Nov. 6.
As part of a discussion entitled Corporate Acquisitions: Defensive Tactics, Okamoto presented "The Price Effects of Event Risk Protection: the Results from a Natural Experiment." Okamoto is the lead author of the article, which he wrote with Assistant Teaching Professor Natalie Pedersen and with David Pedersen, a graduate student at the LeBow College of Business.
