Three Earle Mack School of Law students will be spending the summer offering legal assistance to nonprofit public interest organizations as part of the Equal Justice Works Summer Corps.
Rising 3L Han Meadway will be working with Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, which provides legal advice and representation for civil matters to low-income residents of Philadelphia.
Rising 3L Ted Oswald will be working with Lutheran Children and Family Services, which provides social services including foster care, adoption, refugee resettlement and immigration services to residents of the Delaware Valley.
Rising 2L Claudia Shank will be working with the Disability Rights Network, which advances, protects, and advocates for the human, civil, and legal rights of Pennsylvanians with disabilities.
Each student will receive a $1,000 AmeriCorps education award voucher upon completion of a minimum of 300 hours of summer service.
