Professor David S. Cohen is quoted in "With New Sox Program, Your Ticket’s as Good as Cash. But There’s a Catch...," an article in the June 13, 2010 edition of the Boston Globe. The story highlights a new service used by pro baseball teams that employs barcode technology to add the cost of concessions to tickets.
Cohen, a constitutional law scholar and avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, is a "blog lord" at The Good Phight.
He enjoyed a moment of fame on April 15, when he fielded a foul ball with a spectacular one-handed catch at the Washington Nationals game at Citizens Bank Park.
Leaning over the deck railing as Shane Victorino swatted away a foul in the bottom of the sixth inning, Cohen caught the ball with his bare right hand, without spilling the ice cream that he held in his left. Cohen immediately turned the ball over to his 4-year-old son, Josh.
