Emily Foote Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, Saxbys Emily Foote is the Chief Growth and Strategy Officer at Saxbys. Before joining Saxbys, Emily was a principal at Osage Venture Partners, a Philadelphia-based venture capital firm specializing in early-stage B2B software investments. Prior to that, she co-founded Practice, a video-based professional learning platform that was acquired in 2017 by Instructure, the company behind the learning management systems Canvas and Bridge. Following the acquisition, she took on multiple leadership roles at Instructure, including VP of Customer Success and VP of Strategy. Emily began her career in education as a Teach For America and KIPP teacher before transitioning to law, where she specialized in special education. She earned her law degree cum laude from the Drexel Kline School of Law in 2010, a master’s degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
