Emily Foote is principal at Osage Venture Partners, a Philadelphia-based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage B2B software companies.

Before joining Osage, Emily co-founded Practice, a video-based professional learning tool that was sold in 2017 to Instructure, which develops the learning management platforms Canvas and Bridge for education and corporate markets. Following the acquisition, Emily held multiple roles at Instructure, including VP of Customer Success and VP of Strategy.

Emily is a former special education lawyer and former Teach for America and KIPP teacher. She graduated cum laude from the Kline School of Law in 2010. She also graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
