Deborah R. Gross is Of Counsel to Kaufman, Coren & Ress, P.C. She has extensive experience in complex litigation, including consumer, antitrust, and securities class actions. She was Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association and President of the Board of Trustees of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation. She is championing the development of an Equal Justice Center in Philadelphia which will co-locate over 15 legal nonprofit organizations and will transform the capacity and operation of Philadelphia’s legal aid system. She also was a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Judicial Commission which evaluates state judicial candidates with a principal office in Philadelphia for election or retention. She received her JD from Boston University School of Law and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is married to Stuart Kurtz, who has his own law firm in Wayne, PA and they have three adult children and a goldendoodle granddog.
