Market Sector Lead, AECOM

Dr. Patrick O'Brien is the market sector lead for AECOM's water business line in Western PA and has been involved in managing the design and construction of projects for over 30 years, working on projects as large as a nuclear power plant in Chicago to a world class performance arts center at Case Western Reserve University to rebuilding hurricane damaged hotels in Florida.  He has been involved in all facets of civil engineering as a designer, contractor, construction manager, owner's representation and has served as a mediator for construction disputes on over $2B worth of projects when he worked for a corporate law firm in Cleveland, OH for 14 years. Dr. O'Brien is a licensed professional engineer in four states, including PA, NY, OH and the District of Columbia and has been a Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2000 and has taught in various departments at Drexel since 2009.
