As workforce policy continues to evolve, apprenticeships and workforce grants are creating new pathways for career advancement, industry training, and economic mobility. This Goodwin Great Talk explores the growing incentives behind workforce development initiatives and how adult learners, employers, and nontraditional students can take advantage of “earn while you learn” opportunities designed to reduce financial barriers while building real-world experience.

Attendees will gain insight into emerging workforce funding opportunities, the long-term value of apprenticeships, and how Goodwin College of Professional Studies Continuing Professional Education (CPE) helps connect individuals and organizations to accessible, career-driven training programs. From navigating workforce policy updates to turning opportunity into action, this session highlights how Goodwin helps make professional growth tangible, practical, and achievable for today’s evolving workforce.
