Mission Ready: Turning Military Skills into Civilian Success

Wednesday, August 5, 2026

12:00 PM-1:00 PM

Leadership, discipline, and adaptability got you through the military, but are you using them to build your next mission?

The civilian world doesn’t always see the value of military experience unless you translate it.

Join this lunch and learn for tips on how to reframe your MOS, deployments, and leadership in terms of project management, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

Civilian students benefit from hearing this reframing too—so they can recognize these hidden strengths in their peers and team members.

Participants will leave with a link to a Custom GPT that helps them translate military experience into professional strengths on LinkedIn, resumes, and interviews.

Presenter: Neferteri Strickland; Cyberspace Strategist / PA National Guard Company Commander / University Lecturer
