Student Living Learning Community

The First-Year Exploratory Studies (FYES) Living Learning Community is a unique opportunity for you to live together with a group of like-minded students and an incredible way to get involved during your first year. You’ll be roommates and residence hall neighbors with your fellow FYES students. Along with the academic benefits of having study groups organized right at your front door, it’s also a great way to form long-lasting friendships.

We encourage all FYES Living Learning Community members to continue their exploration of Drexel’s campus and student activities, and the City of Philadelphia together.

How do I apply for the Student Living Learning Community?

The First-Year Exploratory Studies Living Learning Community is available to all incoming FYES students. Once you have confirmed your offer of acceptance from Drexel University, you can elect to join the FYES Living Learning Community in your housing application.

In order to be considered for the FYES Community program, you must:

  • Pay your $200 housing deposit
  • Preferred completion of your housing application by Priority Deadline.

Visit the Office of University Housing website and follow the step-by-step guide for instructions on how to successfully apply for University Housing and select a learning community. If you have any questions, please contact housing@drexel.edu.
