Xi Wang, Ph.D., P.E., is an Associate Teaching Professor of Construction Management program at Drexel University. With a background in civil engineering and construction management, Dr. Wang combines technical expertise, innovative teaching, and industry engagement to prepare students for successful careers in the construction industry. Her teaching areas include construction estimating, building information modeling (BIM), community impact, building systems, and sustainability.
Dr. Wang’s research interests include construction workforce development, learning motivation for student success, and social sustainability and resilience in healthcare construction development and management. Her work also explores emerging technologies such as unmanned aerial systems (UAS), artificial intelligence, and BIM, along with innovative approaches to improving student learning and professional readiness. A licensed Professional Engineer and LEED Green Associate, Dr. Wang is passionate about connecting classroom learning with real-world construction practices and creating experiential learning opportunities that prepare students to become future industry leaders.
