    Exhibition from March 11, 2022 through May 19, 2023. On March 11, the Anthony J. Drexel Picture Gallery in the Main Building will open A New Kind of House, a year-long exhibition celebrating eight years of Writers Room—a university-community literary arts program engaged in creative placemaking and art for social justice. The photography and writing of students and neighbors, displayed alongside and in conversation with pieces from The Drexel Collection, will engage in a rich dialogue about the changing face of our university and surrounding neighborhoods.

Supplementary materials for the exhibition are on view in the A.J. Drexel Picture Gallery. The gallery is open 9-5PM on January 7th, 9th, 14th, 21st, 28th & 30th; February 4th, 6th and March 2nd, 13th. Extended hours from 1pm-5pm on March 10th, 12th, 16th, 20th and April 17th, 23rd, 24th, and 30th. Outside of these dates the Picture Gallery has limited hours of Monday - Friday 3:30-5pm.

The exhibition Honoring the Hahnemann Community explores these dual and sometimes competing purposes, and their influence on healthcare in Philadelphia and the region for over 170 years.
