October 24, 2024

Rachit Sharma, MPH, an environmental and occupational health doctoral student and graduate research assistant at the Dornsife School of Public Health, discusses his research and experiences as an international PhD student on the 1.5 Degrees podcast.

The podcast is hosted by Heidi Pan and explores the science, solutions, and stories of the fight against climate change.

"What keeps me going is what I’m here for. I want to leave the world in a better place than what I found it as," said Sharma. "There are tough days there are good days but at the end of the PhD it’s who you become and I see myself changing as a scientist, as a person.”
