Jamile Tellez Lieberman

October 23, 2024

Dornsife Alum Jamile Tellez Lieberman, DrPH '21, recently received a City of Philadelphia Resolution from Councilwoman Quetcy Lozada in recognition of her ongoing work in public health research and practice while at Dornsife and now at Esperanza as Senior Vice President of Community Engagement, Research, and Health Equity.

This recognition by the city, which came during Hispanic Heritage Month, reflects Dr. Tellez Lieberman's commitment to social justice and dedication to well-being of the Latino community. "I don’t have all the experiences of having lived in the [North Philadelphia] neighborhood…[so] what I really need is for people to tell me their stories, to raise their hands and join me in this fight," she said.
