Work environment and workforce development activities in the FIRST Center's portfolio exist to assist fire and rescue departments in the creation of safe, inclusive, and effective work environments. These dimensions build on learning from other projects in our portfolio, especially those employing best practices from organizational science, occupational health psychology, and policy implementation.
