Executive Director, National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF)


Chief Ron Siarnicki is the Executive Director of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF). He began his fire service career with the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department in 1978 and with 30 years of fire, rescue, and emergency medical services operational experience, he progressed through the ranks to Chief of the Deparment.

In July of 2001, Chief Siarnicki retired from the department to take the position of NFFF Executive Director. Prior to serving in Prince George's County, he served as a firefighter with the Monessen Volunteer Fire Department Hose House #2 and currently serves with the United Communities Volunteer Fire Department in Stevensville, Maryland.

Chief Siarnicki holds a BS in Fire Science Management and a master's degree from the School of Management and Technology at the University of Maryland, University College. He is a Certified Fire Officer (CFO) IV, Fire Fighter III, and a State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
