Dr. Richard Campbell is a Senior Research Analyst at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). His research interest includes policy initiatives that promote safe and healthy communities and workplaces. He has authored or coauthored articles on a variety of workplace injury areas, such as occupational and environmental health, injury surveillance and prevention, and workplace stress. He also sits on the editorial board of Fire Technology.

Dr. Campbell received a BA from Grand Valley State University, an MS in Social Economy and Social Policy from Boston College Chestnut Hill, and a ScD in Work Environment Policy from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
