Chief Bill Wentlandt
Superintendent at State of Florida
Bill Wentlandt is the Superintendent of the Florida State Fire College. In its multi faceted capacities, the College both educates and maintains credentials for over 60,000 fire and emergency services personnel in Florida. Bill joined the College in 2010 after a 28 year career in the Fire Service serving the City of Milwaukee in all ranks, including five years as Fire Chief. Bill’s academic accomplishments include a Baccalaureate Degree from Southern Illinois University and an MBA from Cardinal Stritch University. Bill has also completed the Department of Homeland Security Executive Fire Officer Program. Bill has served as a local volunteer with the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity.
