From October 2023 to May 2014, Dornsife School of Public Health’s Population Health Spotlight Series welcomed five speakers with diverse public health backgrounds in research, community health, health and policy, and more. "Health Equity and LGBTQ+ Health" was the theme of the series.

The series explored a range of pressing issues related to LGBTQ health and discussed implications for policies and action.

This year's speakers included:

• Madina Agénor, ScD, Assistant Professor, Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Center for Health Promotion and Health Equity, Brown University School of Public Health
• Kellan Baker, PhD, Executive Director and Chief Learning Officer, Whitman-Walker Institute
• Gilbert Gonzales, PhD, Associate Professor of Medicine, Health & Society Department of Health Policy, Vanderbilt University
• Tonia Poteat, PhD, Professor, Duke University School of Nursing, and Co-Director, Duke SGM Health Program, Duke University
• Asa Radix, MD, Senior Director of Research and Education, Callen-Lorde Community Health Center
